“Omi” is the old name of a region in Japan known for its clean water and good rice.

We chose this name to remind ourselves of one simple promise:

No matter how busy we are, we never forget the quality of every bowl of rice and every piece of fish.

Omi Sushi & Hibachi is a small, neighborhood restaurant in Parkville, MD.

We don’t have many seats, and most of our orders are takeout and delivery,

but every day we cook for people just like us:

families too tired to cook after work,

friends sharing sushi over games and movies,

students grabbing a quick bento before or after exams.

In our tiny kitchen, every sushi roll, hibachi plate, fried rice and bento box

is made to order. We focus on three things:
